Introduction Objectives of Our Survey Methodology
IntroductionIt is clear that China's future growth and development is heavily dependent on the quality of the University education system. In order for China's universities to continuously improve, uniform systems for evaluating the universities are necessary. Benchmarks must be set, which university administrators can use to measure their progress. In addition, students need to obtain objective information about China's universities in order to make an informed decision about which school they would like to attend.
NetBig.com recognized the importance of developing an objective measure of the universities in China. In 1999, NetBig.com generated the first-ever objective ranking of China's Universities. These rankings were well received by both students and administrators and were viewed as a valuable tool for measuring the performance of universities in several areas. NetBig.com developed a similar ranking this year with expanded coverage in many areas. The description of NetBig.com's methodology for developing these rankings is described below.
